An international competition devoted to piano performance, young musicians' development and the artistic legacy of Ugo Amendola.


Pianist, composer and teacher, for many years director of the “Benedetto Marcello” Conservatory in Venice and a jury member in important piano competitions.
His catalogue includes seven piano sonatas, a Partita, Divertimenti su basso ostinato, Preludes, Album Leaves, chamber music and orchestral works. The competition keeps his musical research alive and brings it to new generations of performers.
